What’s all the hullabaloo?
The 2022 Holiday Hullabaloo is an immersive, family-friendly holiday experience that will surprise and delight guests this holiday season. Enjoy a variety of activities, entertainment and festivities that will allow you to create some fun holiday hullabaloo and memories.

November 25 through December 31
10am–6pm: General Admission
7pm–11pm: Adults Only
Don’t miss Des Moines’ biggest NYE Party: The Silver Bell Soirée!
On December 31, the Ice Bar will be transformed into the Silver Bell Soiree. You’ll have one last opportunity to view the holiday festivities and ring in the New Year with a silver balloon drop, signature cocktails, and live music by the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

An experience unlike any other.
By day you can decorate a cookie in Mrs. Claus’s Kitchen, build a craft in Santa’s Workshop, stroll through toyland, play mini golf in Santa’s back 9, get competitive in our indoor snowball fight arena, shop the Marketplace or relax in the ice bar. In the evening, chill with your family, friends and co-workers at the Ice Bar (21+ only). All the daytime experiences will still be available for viewing. Sip on a signature cocktail, and enjoy live music and dancing, too. This is a cash-free event — only credit or debit cards will be accepted.

Come behind the scenes and help bring the Hullabaloo to life. It takes a workshop full of elves to create this magical and fun Holiday Hullabaloo! The Holiday spirit comes alive through volunteerism, so join the crew.
- Multiple day and evening shifts available – sign up for as many as you’d like
- Weekday and weekend shifts possible
- Fun and rewarding opportunities for high schoolers seeking Silver Cord Hours
- Volunteers also get one free ticket to daytime hours
