About
Dorothy’s House is a sanctuary for survivors of human trafficking, exploitation, and prostitution—a place where healing begins and lives are reclaimed. Since opening in 2016, we have provided a safe, stable environment where survivors can meet their basic needs, access critical resources, and begin their journey toward restoration. Our individualized approach acknowledges that each person’s path to healing is unique. Through our specialized curriculum, participants build the emotional and practical tools they need to move forward. At Dorothy’s House, we believe in creating a community that not only shelters but uplifts, helping survivors break cycles of trauma and rediscover hope.

Why Give?
By joining our Freedom Circle, you become an essential part of a survivor’s journey to freedom. Your ongoing support provides more than shelter—it funds vital programs, therapeutic services, and daily essentials that empower survivors to overcome the lasting effects of trauma. Every recurring gift strengthens the foundation we’ve built and ensures we can continue offering a safe space for healing. As a member of the Freedom Circle, you’re not just giving—you’re standing with survivors, saying their lives matter, and helping them reclaim their futures.
Recurring giving is essential to Dorothy’s House, providing the stability and predictability needed to plan, grow, and sustain critical programs. Unlike one-time donations, recurring contributions allow us to budget more effectively and respond to the ongoing needs of the survivors we serve. This consistent support ensures we can maintain safe housing, provide trauma-informed care, and deliver long-term healing programs without interruption. In a world where funding can be uncertain, recurring donors form the foundation that keeps our mission alive and thriving—month after month, year after year.
